Ethical Is The New Black: New York Style Done Consciously

January 24, 2017

Wintertime (actually, anytime) in New York means one thing: all black outfits are perfectly acceptable without anybody assuming you are on your way to a funeral. Actually, they’re more than acceptable, they’re almost expected! Don’t get me wrong, I love me some colorful floral prints and flowy silhouettes (as the Earth loving flower child that I am), but it must be the native New Yorker in me to not be able to resist a chic all black outfit in these cold winter months.

To help matters, I have finally found that absolutely perfect pair of black jeans. Ladies, we all know how essential a good, flattering pair of black denim is to our wardrobe, and I’m really happy that I get to share my find with you. Sustainable denim in itself isn’t easy to find! I totally took a gamble on these by ordering them online from a new brand and guessing my size, but I’m so happy to report that they fit me perfectly and are probably the most flattering and comfortable pair of jeans that I now own.
